It's kinda late but there's still spots left. Should be a really fun day and you'll get to beat on some AMG's

I went to this on sunday, what a great time! They had the following cars running while I was there:

C 63 AMG
CLS 63 AMG
SL 63AMG

It was set up like Great America. Pick a line for the car you want to drive and hop in. After each lap, you had to exit the car and get back in line. Only three laps total per driver. A tech went with you in the passenger seat and provided excellent instruction with enthusiasm. My only complaint is that the steering on those cars is a little loose for my tastes. Other than that, just plain beastly.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Yes, it def was the nibblest of them all. A kick in the pants to drive for sure. But again the steering was way too loose for my liking.

I forget, but do all AMG models come with the signature of the master mechanic who hand-built the engine?

Yes

Didn't top gear raise the question if there were enough master mechanics to build all those engines by hand?
