My 2002

So this is what has been entertaining me since the fall. Finally got her back from the paint shop. Still want to replace the beat up trim, but she is fun to throw around. My oldest has already called dibs.

1973 BMW 2002
If you want to check out the work that went into her http://seventythree2002.wordpress.com

Edit: Forget that pic, car looked like trash there. Here it is alot better.

Try to get your hands on a Metric Mechanic front sway bar , it worked very well . I have a long list of mods for an '02.

I used Metric Mechanic back in the mid 90's when I worked E30's and E34's! He had some great mods!

Thanks for the complements I actually replaced the belt line trim today. Next will be the knee line. The I hate the way it looks.

Bigger photos will be posted if we get a decent day soon.

200 bucks if used for a Demo Derby.
The car's destruction must be on Video, as well as 2 tickets to the event in which it will die.

450 Buck, if used for a 24H of LeMons event. (there is one at Gingerman)
One driver spot must be available to me.

750 With no proof of destruction.

There is a long history with this car.
It needs to either Die... of be properly restored.
My vote is to be destroyed!

Yes, it is a complete car.
It was a "Mechanic's car" when my wife bought it.
She swapped the transmission for a 5-speed, added a LSD, and lowed the car.
She then drove it for 100 miles.
I have spent 4 years fixing all the "Mechanics work" till I slid it into a snow bank and said I am done with this pile.

Anyone want to make a CLSB Lemons car? I have no money but I do have tools, resources and have raced cars at Gingerman before.

I can be persuaded into this fairly easily.

Xian model? Pics?

Its a '89 325I
This is an older pic. it really does not visibly show the car's need to be beaten to its own death.
The front bumper really was never on good...
Then there was a meeting with the garage via the wife... so the bumper is less attached then it used to be!

Added some more pictures to the first post. I swapped out the trims. I couldn't take that big ugly chrome lower. If you go to the blog you can see more and bigger one.

Does it have the 4:11 LSD from a 318I in it? That alone is worth 500-800 bucks to an e30 enthusiast, and its a 1 hour swap.

You don't ask the first question in racing. The answer to the second one is of course.
