Gonna post pics, gonna get opinions...

True true. Funny thing is...I LOVE the headlights...much more than the vacuum operated ones. I think it makes the car look meaner. To each his own.

I disagree, needs more tire!

So what else did u find wrong? And did u get the carb adjusted, or did u get a new one?
New carb. After A LOT of research and reading on Corvette forums, the conclusion was that some carb are just VERY VERY difficult to tune to some engines, and by slapping on a Edelbrock Performer it was up and running immediately with VERY little tuning necessary. Sometimes it's just how it is, and a lot of the seasoned Corvette guys have a hard time explaining even why that is.
Car wouldn't change gears. My fault. What I thought was a return fuel line from the Holley carb (rubber hose marked fuel line from the carb that then turned into a metal fuel type line and disappeared in the firewall area), was in fact the vacuum line to the trans. I had capped it, turns out it needed to be plugged into the carb. Easy fix, and my fault.
While in the parade on Sunday we started having some steering "slippage". I had to remove the steering gear box for a rebuild, and when it all went back together I tightened the components with a wrench. Turns out it needed to be tightened with an extension and socket for more torque (probably a torque wrench would have worked best looking back). Anyway, thank God we noticed this in the parade and not driving down the street. Eventually the steering would have just turned with no response. Easy fix, my fault.
Also Sunday a weird wobble noise started appearing in the rear. It speeds up with the speed of the car, and gets louder, then decreases as you slow. I thought it was a flat tire. But tire, all components, bushings, etc...all look good. This is my next fix. Find and fix what that wobble noise is.

sweet ride but agree with dave on the side exhaust... but then again i drive a base model civic sedan so take that for what its worth.
Again, one of the personal things. I LOVE the side exhaust, some people don't. Oh well.
