Spare wheel/tire missing???

So I was just adjusting the tire pressure on my Jeep and was going to check the spare, but to my surprise it wasn't under the vehicle anymore.

I cannot imagine not noticing it falling off, so I must assume that some jackass stole it. Where and when I will never know for sure, but I cannot stop thinking that some asshat had the balls to do it while it was parked in the driveway overnight.

So, just venting here and doing a PSA...check to see if your spare is still there.

Also, where would you recommend getting a replacement that is not going to break the bank? BTW...its an 08 Jeep GC.

Greg

Catalytic converters. These are popular with thieves especially vehicles that are easy to slide under.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Nope just took mine off the jeep yesterday the worm gear is bad...

there are 3 bolts underneath I assume its 1/2 Inch, but 13mm works as well, loosen and remove the one bolt in the back and two in the front just needed to be loosed up and you can take the winch off. On the inside you just have the square to turn it, that will slide down once the back bolt is out.
I have to get a new winch from the junk yard next week...
