Exhaust Systems

So I'm looking at putting a simple cat-back exhaust on the truck. I would like to know what systems you would recomend or any experience you may have. I want that growl but I don't want it to be too loud inside the cabin. Thanks for any imput.

Phil

You wanna see my itinerary?

Borla or Magnaflow.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Truck make and model will help.

I had a 3" straight pipe into dual tips straight out the back, on my 96 Ram V8, and it had an awesome growl. Many people commented about how it sounded, its the only thing I miss about that truck.

Out the backwill help keep cabin noise down.

Also add a K&N filter to improve air flow.

Edit: Just saw this is probably for the Ford, Borla is probably what you want.

Ken.

Oh don't be a pussy! Dump it! My '03 Sierra with a 5.3 and I dumped it pretty much where the cab meets the bed. Sounds awesome. Oh and it only cost me $15 for the turn down.

So Borla seems to be winning. Why no comments for Flowmaster, Magnaflow or Banks?

My dad had Magnaflow pipes on his F-150. I think it was an 06. Sounded bad ass, but it was loud. I didn't think it was too loud, but your opinion may differ.
