Kia Optima anyone?

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the new Kia Optima.

It's a gorgeous, well built car, but still a Kia at the end of the day.

Any thoughts?

Korean cars have come a LONG way in the last 10 years. I say go for it. Good lookin' car, solid build, and great warranty.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

What is the cost of the Optima you're looking at purchasing?

Kia and Hyundai are the same company now.

Mom and dad both have Kia's now They love them and being my dad never would buy a foreign car before until he rode in the sportage. Now he has a sorento.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

I'm either gonna spend 20k on the Sonata or 28k for the fully loaded Optima.

The new Q5 looks damn good too. That will be roughly 45k.

I agree with this as a used kia purchaser. They make the same exact cars, but the resale on hyundai's is a bit better. So if you're buying new and plan to sell in a few years, go with the hyundai.

Although I prefer the looks of the new optima and the turbo would be nice in the fully loaded package.

The newer Kia's I've worked on seem to be decent cars.

Back when they first started selling Kias here they were disposable hunks of shit. Front wheel bearings on the Sportages were good for about 8,000 miles . They've come a long way since then.

Prius is great; I'm keeping that car. I live with my brother and we share the Tacoma and the Prius. I'm getting rid of the Tacoma and getting another car.

I've been commuting to Oak Brook from the city and averaging 58 mpg in the Prius. Love it.

Come on now, we all know that's just a blatant lie.
