torquing wheels its serious business

found this video about semi trucks, yes the first 3 minutes maybe be boring, so skip to the 3 min mark

I have changed so many lug studs, from people going overboard with their impact guns.

This is serious stuff. I lost a coworker and friend several years ago in WI when a truck (from a Tire Shop ironically enough) had a tire from the front come off and bounce across the concrete center median wall and strike him through the windshield. He died shortly afterwards. He was a great guy that did quite a bit volunteer work with his church and community. His first child was born about 5 months later.

seen it happen first hand.

axle broke on a rig on 55, while I was working with a crew on frontage road in romeoville. both tires came at us still bolted together, bounced off of our trucks and almost killed a guy next to my truck.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
