If you get a Niner with rigid fork I want to ride it. I have heard from a few people those are FAST. Not sure if it is a great trail bike or not with a rigid fork, but it sure would be light.

One of the (faster) guys riding at Palos today has a singlespeed Superfly (carbon ) frame with a niner carbon fork. It is one sexy mountain bike
He rides all of palos all the time with it.

Lynskey Pro 29 SL $2459 for the frame and $6299 with sram xx build- do it if you are cool.

http://www.lynskeyperformance.com/st...pro29sl-ss.jpg

if you didn't mean that fly then santa cruz or tomac is a good second choice.

if that is still too cool for you then just get a Giant Anthem.
