WTB Dirtjumper / urban / park bike

Anyone have a urban/dirtjumper/park bike they are looking to part with?

Keep an eye on the Milwaukee craigslist along with our local one. Also there are usually a few bikes for sale at rays but I would only go if you plan on riding because the selection isn't that great. Usually good deals go fast.

Yeah I have been on CL for the last two weeks, just thought I would throw it up here to see if someone had one sitting around they may part with, that may have not put it up for sale otherwise. I am typically good for doing this myself, I have a ton of things I would sell just not motivated to do it. Yes, there are deals are out there, my buddy just picked up a very clean Eastern Nighttrain for $500 off of CL.

One of the reasons to get a DJ bike is ride at Rays. Few of my friends go 1-2 times a week. I plan on going up in the next week or so and renting the Trek Ticket.

I am thinking of getting a 20" because they are so much cheaper plus I could race it at The Hill in Elgin.

My friends go every Sunday evening for BMX Sunday's when its only $13 to ride. Right now it is about 50/50 with my friends on 20" and the other half on 26" DJ bikes. I agree I keep finding really good deals on 20" bikes and have been tempted, also have come across a few deals on a 24" which may be a decent compromise.

What are you riding up there? You get a new MTB yet? I work every Sat, so I am for Saturdays. So leaves me with Fridays, Sundays, or Mondays for me, though this weekend is out, Maybe Monday.

I'm thinking of a 20'' because then I can race it. Ohfugit let me ride his 20'' and it was very different from what i'm used to but i'm thinking it will come back to me pretty quickly. They seem to be about 6-8 lbs lighter then the DJ bikes which is nice. The rigid fork on the other hand was not good but maybe it will force me to be smoother. A 26'' wheel will surely dominate on the skinnies though.

I'd buy one of each but can't even come close to justifying that kind of investment at this point.
