MTB 4X Racing at The Hill

The Hill BMX Track created a 26'' wheeled class which runs 4 guys per heat. The ABA Membership at $45 is good for one year so if you buy it April 1, 2012 it's good until 4/1/13. Each race is $7 and $5 of that goes toward a pot that's awarded to the top 3 finishers at 50/30/20% (of what ever the pot size is) respectively.

Not only am I interested but i'm also considering racing my xc bike and then just buying a 20'' bike that I could race here and ride at Rays. I really didn't like the 20'' at Rays but i'm sure the more I rode one it would be just like old times.

What do you guys think? More info here:

I have a problem. Too much is never enough.

I have found a few cruisers on CL that are in really good shape for a good price. Many of the 20'' bikes are freestyle/park type bikes.

Found this good article that talks about the difference of each wheel size.

Well I am going to suck this year so short races like this will be easy to do. I'd be screwed on any type of long races.

I'm definitely getting a 20" race bike too. This way I can race 2 classes. I wouldn't mind having another motocross bike again but like ken said, not enough time in the day or week to keep adding hobbies.
