I was going to run it, but hurt myself out there a few weeks ago...now I'm a "probably not"

We'll see, but I'll have to pay a premium now.

$10 premium above the original reg cost? For some reason I thought it was more...maybe I will still run it. Have they posted the route information yet?

I'll demand a damn shirt though!

I haven't seen a course preview yet, but I hope they post one. If they go down the rocky section from Bullfrog, I want to prepare my kid for that one before she hits it.

Yeah, that Bullfrog trail can be brutal...same thing with that Bullwhip or canal trail. Whatever the heck that new(er) trail down south is. Better have full suspension for that bitch!

Hopefully I will have my kid's new MTB done for the weekend. Got her a full suspension Titus Racer X frame and using all my old parts from other bikes. It'll be better than the 50 pound $200 POS she's riding now.

It will also be better than the $600 40lb POS I'm riding now

Ken if you are going to get killed in Comp, not sure what makes me think that I can survive it... the start time sure is appealing though.

Can you post your Garmin link from last years race?

It's mostly the same as last year although I hear they are changing a minor part.

Jon, we did much of the interesting singletrack part of the race.
On the 1st ride in the direction of the race we did 14 16 17 almost to 19 on the map Ken posted.

I parked at the very first lot (on the right) that way I didn't have to deal with traffic etc to leave.
You just go up the hill to the next lot on your right and thats where everything is.

I had a great time, today. Only did the Novice class as it was my first race of any kind on a pedal pusher. Couple wrecks that I avoided and could have been more aggressive in other areas, but all in all I had a ton of fun.. My lungs felt on fire for much of it..

I finished 73rd and of like 240 people.

Data is below.
