Let's all do this. We'll have a CLSB scoring system based on experience on roadbikes and whether you smoke or not. Loser buys lunch.

No TT bikes allowed to qualify for CLSB points. You must be on a roadbike. Aero wheels = -2mph from your average speed.

That's just plain gross!

If I was a betting man....I'd bet on the old ladies. Unless I can find some sticky tires for my stingray. It has a banana seat so we can tandem if you want.

I do. A Santana. It's not a TT tandem. Just a regular tandem. No aero bars. No aero wheels. You can get it moving at a pretty decent speed if you have two strong riders on it.

You have to have two riders that would fit on it. On front you could probably fit a 5'8" to about a 6'2" On back you are probably looking at 5' to 5'8" or so.

Not sure which would be best, but CAT 4 must have a CAT 4 license, which you do not. Age groups it is, unless open is slower, but who really cares how you finish at this. Just experience really. The winner of our class will average around 29-30 mph I would guess.

I'll give you guys a tip too, make sure you warm up well in advance, and include a few hard efforts that max your HR before you do it in the race. If you pedal around for a few minutes and aren't warmed up, you will effectively warm up in your race and suck.

The fastest guy Swarzendruber has been doing this his entire life and wins just about every tt he enters I think. He starts in December from what I've seen and hammers all year.
