10/14 WORS-Wigwam MTB challenge

Anyone done this one or interested in doing it? Looks like a pretty fun course from some of the vids I've watched.

http://www.wors.org/schedule/wigwam/

If I don't do this I may do the cx race in Carpentersville Sunday(or at least come check it out), especially with it only being 15min away.

Already entered the CX races, but this WORS race is super fun. I'm starting to not like the driving lately seeing as it's every weekend somewhere now with us. Everyone so far has been digging the CX races. You should try one soon.

I was thinking about it but there is an event at Ray's on Saturday I want to go to and I doubt I'd have much interest in driving there the next day.

I'll be making a decision soon and will let you know. Originally my wife was going to make the trip up with me but if we all work out some ride share I don't think she'll mind staying warm and dry at home.

My plan was to get up there around 3pm Saturday to get registered and then pre-ride the course.

Pre-riding may be closed Saturday to preserve the course for the race if they get the expected rain. If that's the case I'm not going up Saturday just to sit in a hotel. Still not sure if I want to drive up Sunday morning. Would have to leave pretty early to make the citizen race. Sport's a little more doable since it starts at 11:30, I just won't look at the results afterwords. Plus I'll get more for my time/money.

Ever since the race at Kettle I've been anxious to do another one. Driving myself crazy!

FYI:
WORS has gotten word from race director Jon Holcomb that the race is on Sunday - rain or shine. Start time delays might be a possibility

Thanks for the update. I decided I'm out for this one. Would have went up today if the pre-ride wasn't canceled. Just not motivated enough to do the 6hr drive round trip to race. If it was only a little closer...

See you at the Rock Cut race next Sunday!

Sounds good.
I'll be camping at RC so if you want to stop by the day before you are welcome.
I was thinking of trying CX tomorrow in Carpentersville if there is an opening. Interested?

Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I'm not making it to the CX race today. I was talking to Chuck (MVRC51) and we may check out the CX race in Bartlett next Sunday after the RC race if you're interested.

Also I might drop by RC next Saturday to preview the course so I'll let you know. Was there a couple weeks ago and pretty much rode the same trails that appear to make up this year's race course. Fun place and not too far a drive either.

The Rock Cut Course set up will be Saturday at 8am. The meet is at olson lake. Also there will be a night ride sat starting at 6pm. Come out and try out the latest lights from Nova lights. That will also meet at Olson Lake (the start//finish line)
