Bike trainers

For all you guys contemplating trainers...

I have 2 Kurt Kinetic trainers. A road machine an a rock and roll. I used the road machine last winter and gave it to my wife this winter. It's got 5,000 miles on it. Last night it started making a funny noise. I emailed KK with a vi of the noise. This morning they sent out a new resistance unit for me! Bam! Can't beat a new trainer! Something to be said about buying quality products from companies with good customer service! Especially when you use the shit out of this stuff! 😎😄

Nice, but if you would have brought a Tacx you wouldn't of had that problem in first place.

That is good customer service you got.

I don't want to jinx myself
On the TACX, The RealLive Video and Virtual races are pretty neat. That multiplayer race thing is cool too. That being said It's not the least buggy thing you are ever going to buy software-wise but I find it helps pass the miles / Hours

You have 5000 miles on a trainer? You should be faster.

I have the pro flywheel. It's a seperate accessory. You can buy it with it if you want. They call it pro but its the same trainer just with the flywheel. I have it on the rock and roll right now. I really like it for my long trainer rides. Feels VERY road like. But it takes too long to spin down when doing short VO2 max type intervals.

I'm not as slow as you think. if you ever got out on the road you'd know! 😳😜. Half of them are in the last 2 1/2 months so the pay off should be coming! Lol

The first thing on your list should be a new computer.

I have a Kurt Road Machine and it's 100x better then a magnetic. I'd buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a good trainer.

What? My 2007 Inspiron 2200 is going strong, except the "r" key I have to hit it several times before it works, and right click doesn't work and watching HD videos come in stop motion, but other than that its fine.

Good ones. I have the Kinetic by Kurt Road Machine Indoor Bicycle Trainer. It's quite expensive amongst the new bike trainers but it is all worth the cash. I was also opting for a CycleOps Fluid 2 Indoor Bicycle Trainer. I found other cool choices here: squidoo.com/best-bike-trainer
