Make sure you work off more calories than you eat. I think I had 8000 calories of sammiches and cookies when I did it last time.

Yes. Turnout would be low if that wasn't the case. Bike racers are questionable people.

nine mile forest is 9 hours in the car, round trip. Fuck that. Just drove to Ohio and back with no riding involved so looking for minimal drive time this weekend. Mattheissen has potential, will look into that but the weather forecast wasn't looking so dry this week so who knows

Got a little issue with the fork though. It's a 1.25 inch steer tube. I have the big giant carbon stem for it but it didn't come with the 4mm stepped spacer. Fuck

Menards has some fender washers that would work. Pile a few of those on it and you should still be able to outhandle the CAT 5 fuckos.
