Found out my in-laws are coming up to visit this weekend. That coupled with father's day and my bro's birthday Sunday means I ain't got no time for racing bicycles in WI damn it.

well I didn't do the damn thing in 23 minutes, not even close. Finished 27:59, 4 seconds ahead of non-cyclist/runner friend so I'm chalkin it up as a win, it was a demoralizing loss for him .
Results: 22nd out of 1500 men 30-39 and 69th out of over 8000 overall. Surprised I did that well in the standings, apparently only 68 non-fatties showed up

How was Camrock?

Track was fun. Bike worked well, I did really bad, although somehow not in last place.

I had to keep stopping to puke during the 1st lap. Once I finished with that I got it in my head that I was going to finish the lap and go home, so I get to the area where you split off to do another lap or finish and said screw it and stayed left and gutted my way through the 2nd lap to at least finish.
I even passed a couple of sorry sacks

I was suffering!!!

Still not sure why I was so sick.
Pretty standard breakfast for me @ 6am
I did accidentally spray some deet on my camelbak mouthpiece.
I had sugary drink shortly before, but all of these things I've done before. (well minus the deet)

After I cooled down I felt much better.
The Race was much busier then the last one I went to.
WORS puts on a nice event.
Took a nap in the Craker Barrel parking lot later and reflected on my life.

Good job sticking it out to the finish''''

I know the warmer it gets outside the more closely I have to watch what I eat/drink before and during strenuous activity. Could have possibly been the drink especially if it was real sugary. Deet doesn't help matters either though.

Be a trendsetter bro! If you are fast enough you can probably get away with wearing a head to toe spandex suit. But just remember....us slow guys will still be laughing at you.
