I love those curved top tubes. I might wait a year or two before I dive into disc brakes yet. Still not sure they will hang around without being upgraded quite a bit this year. Plus they are still heavier.

Oh hell yea. Looks bad ass.

crank brothers had their upgrade special running right now. I did this last year and just put the pedals on my bike. They are great.

Dude it has 2 wheels. I have said mind and get chubby looking at that. Time to chase the GF.

Obviously there will be ongoing improvement, but by the time they get that shit dialed i'll be ready to upgrade components anyway . I read a review and they had very positive feelings about the brakes, so thats a start. I'm good with buying a solid platform now, i want to upgrade that fuji before i'm seriously broke

The dealer across the street from me has the hydraulic Crux's in stock...or at least they've been posting pics to facebook. They've always done right by me, but pricing tends to be a bit higher than other places. Spokes in Wheaton.

Hydraulic disc brakes are the way to go. I'm digging on specialized lately. Then again there aren't too many bikes that I don't like.

They seem to have their shit together for making dope bikes. I still check their site from time to time for job openings even though there is no way I could justify a move to California. Sucks cause every now and again something pops up that I'm actually a good fit for

Specialized stuff is so nice, but they do come at a price. They seem to hold their value pretty well too.

So here's the bottom line after my extensive analysis consisting of lots (5 minutes maybe) of unscientific lever squeezing of hydraulic disc, mechanical disc, and mechanical non-disc: mechanical brakes are for bitches because the hydraulic feel the way brakes should. Awesome. Cable brakes feel like nails on a chalkboard sound, I cannot go back to using an inferior system for cyclocross.

It will be mine. Oh yes...it will be mine.

Maybe

I've done some damage as well between the recent Tarmac purchase and Niner face lift. The Crux would really round out the stable though
