Night Bison 9/1

http://rideaxletree.com/events/host/nb/

50 mile gravel road ride at night in dekalb, unsupported, unmarked route with cue sheets only. Its free. Who's in?

If you're not in and have a good set of lights, can I borrow them? I'm interested in the ride but don't really want to invest in lighting at the moment

I have wanted lights ever since seeing the Ben Stiller "night mountain bike riding" interview.

Minimum $100 bucks for lights that may or may not be junk. Too much stuff to buy these days

are Kettle trails open at night or must you accept a life of crime?

Probably doing a long road ride on sunday and a long MTB ride on Monday at Kettle. So far I think that's the plan.

Not going to hold my breath on this

The night bison sounds good but I keep thinking of all the stories from the VV guys about the gravel road ride out there that was in daylight and what a cluster it was, so as it gets closer the less motivated I am to do it. I'm planning on heading up to Kettle for a full monty on Friday if the storms stay away. No matter what, I want 2 long rides this weekend and at least one needs to be MTB.

might do Monday at Kettle, weather looks way better than Friday. Other than that Harper ride on Saturday sounds good. Dunno yet

Pretty sure the park is open until 11pm. If I had lights I'd totally be down for a group night ride there.
