Chunkers make sure you know the roadies you were riding with this year that are also doing CX because they are the ones that are going to destroy you next year.

Jackson Park has 14 spots left in Cat 4, and 8 left in Cat 4/5. Better decide quickly if you're going to make the opening round!

Everything is full except the hour long 1/2/3 race, and only a few spots left there too. Course looks utterly ridiculous. I can't wait. The carnage is going to be epic!

Everybody's saying it's different somehow. I barely remember that race from all the sandbagger comments being flung at me.

Might have to miss this Sunday. Took a spill yesterday and snapped the derailluer hanger. The X-fire uses it's own shape, and dealer can't get one until Wednesday.

Found an eBay dealer in Michigan near Grand Rapids with an aftermarket hanger. If they'll let me do local pickup, I might be doing a spirited motorcycle ride up that way tomorrow.

Crashed on freshly laid cement at the Windfield/Butterfield intersection between St. James and Blackwell. There was a fine layer of dust on top, and it was like hitting ice. Of course, since it was freshly laid there was no shoulder. As soon as the wheel fell off the edge the bike was sliding on me and the derailluer.

It's a different shape than the rest of the lineup. The one big aftermarket company only lists my one bike on their part number, whereas most other PNs have a whole bunch of bikes listed. I think I've hit all the chicago dealers, and I've called Milwaukee and Madison. I'll try Michigan and Indiana dealers tomorrow - due to the time change I missed their open hours by the time I got to them. The eBay dealer's ad says they don't respond to questions on weekends, so I might be out of luck there.
