Laverne and Shirley AKA Trip to HD Museum

Wow all I can say is that next year you need to check out this show. Perfect way to kick off my vacation.
2010 Knucklehead Company's Knucklehead Reunion

Bug and I (aka Laverne and Shirley) rode up to the HD Museum in Milwaukee today.

If you don't know what a Knucklehead is, to put it simply it is a 1936-1947 Harley Davidson. It essentially is the motor all the Big Twin Harleys are designed after. This event is the worlds largest gathering of Knuckles.

Ride up was uneventful, ride back was solo, I got soaked not by rain but by wet pavement and my bike having no fenders. I gotta admit it is a little intense riding a jockey shift suicide clutch motorcycle when the ground is soaked and you can't see.

Anyway this kinda sums things up:

I think I'm getting Bug hooked on the Vintage Iron:

Check out the slideshow for the rest of the picks:

Wow... VERY awesome pics. I wish I knew enough about those rides to speak worthy of them. But all I can say is "sweet!".

When my head stopped singing the Laverne and Shirley theme song all I could think of was "Sweet"

This is Bug he thinks his bike is old. Hardin the Fuck up Bug!

I learned that 120 to 47 south of Lake Geneva has a big bump in the road every 10 feet. At 60 MPH some of them are big enough to catch air. must have been a sight for the cars behind me.
