Mods vs Rockers @ Five Star Bar Sept 13

So I missed the "legit" Mods vs Rockers @ Delilahs this year.

I stopped by with my friend at Five Star Bar and saw that they do Motorcycle Mondays. On Sept. 13 they have a "Mods vs Rockers" theme and I am interested in taking the CB360 cafe there. For anyone else make it out there in the past, how was it? Anyone interested in going this year?

Bet G2G erased them. Too many pictures of me.

In all seriousness mods v rockers was fun, the bikes were great but the company was better.

The Ton Up Motorcycle Mondays at the 5 Star Bar are every first Monday of the month from May through November. September is the second Monday because of Labor Day.
Each month we feature a country of origin...i.e. May was German bike month and August was Italian bike month...We decided to do a Mods vs. Rockers theme this September to break it up a bit and welcome all the scooter guys along with cafe racers.
The trurn out is usually between 30 and 60 bikes and everyone that comes on a featured bike gets a patch. At the end of the evening (10 PM) a bike is chosen by the club as the bike of the night and awarded a trophy. It's VERY low key compared to the MvR show in June, but it's fun and a chance to see some of the bikes and mingle with some of the people of the big MvR.
We've had CLSB folks turn out both last year and this and everyone enjoyed themselves.
We've never actually met nor have I had the chance to see your Honda...Come on out on the 13th...I'd like to finally see your cafe racer.

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

Well, you missed a good one...great turn out of bikes...no scooters and good, friendly conversation among a diverse group of motorcycle people. Check out the new web address for the Ton Up club: www.tonupclubchicago.com for info on the next 2 Motorcycle Mondays and the upcoming Acetoberfest and Halloween extravaganze "Night of the Hellriders"
