my hairdresser's husband is in the maurauder's and she tries to get me to go every year. supposed to be a good time. i'd love to make it, but i fear that my study/school schedule won't allow. bummer.

I put the rock in rockabilly

I'm bringin the 72 CB cafe bike out there. I just ordered a caliper and master cyclinder rebuild kit. It needs a battery and a carb clean.

Where are you ordering master cylinder kits from? I got an aftermarket one for the front of the GS before and it was completely wrong. I ended up replacing the whole master cylinder instead. Now the rear master crapped out so I just ordered one from Suzuki for it.

Anyone want to head over there. It's 5 minutes from my house. I cleaned the carbs and got the custom cafe 1970 CB750 fired up last night. Tonight I'm going to rebuild the front brake caliper and master cyclinder.

Yeah. What time you want me to be at your house?

I finally got a good front brake out of the GS1100E after leaving the lever ziptied to the grip for a week. Hopefully my rear master cylinder rebuild kit comes in today or tomorrow, otherwise I'll just take the motard.

+1 on Z1. They have been a great source for aftermarket parts for my GS750, but they are not a source for OEM Suzuki parts. Great place to get shims if you need them though, mine were 5.00 a shim, much better than OEM $$.

I guess I'll be on the motard. I just picked up the master cylinder kit and it looks like they got me one for a front master cylinder even though I said REAR about 10 times when I ordered it .

Where did you order it from? This is where I have been buying much of my OEM stuff with no issues at all:

Otto Brothers in Lyons. I try to buy stuff locally when possible. This isn't the first time they've gotten me the wrong part. Unfortunately they're the only Suzuki dealer near me so I guess I'll be ordering Suzuki parts online now.

That has got to be the coolest fucking trophy I have ever seen in my life. We were talking about it sitting in Gus's garage and nobody ever noticing it because it would just blend in.

Those pinstripes really set off the CB. Amazing how much difference a 1/16" stripe can make.

seems i pissed off the painter with the stripes.

The thing is I've wanted a splash of color from day one and never really said any thing to him, afraid I'd offend.
