Mods vs. Rockers

The second largest motorcycle event in the City of Chicago is just 2 weeks from now on June 17 & 18. The Ton Up Club Chicago is proud to present the largest gathering of motorcycles in the prime riding season... The annual Mods vs. Rockers celebration.
MvR kicks off with a Friday night party, then on Saturday starting at noon the big ride in bike show takes place at Delilah's at Lincoln Ave. and Diversey.
At 6 PM there will be a group ride to the Bottom Lounge on Lake St. for a traditional Fish & Chips dinner and more partying and entertainment late into the night.
Full details on all the festivities are available @ www.tonupclubchicago.com or www.tonupchicago.com
Everyone is welcome as is anything on 2 wheels (or 3 or even 4!)

CLSB folks that have been there in the past can tell you...it's one hell of an event......................Hope to see you there!

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

Maybe I'll show up with my old and unimproved hd so your friends can see a real Harley

Bump...With all the activities starting at 6 PM tomorrow (Friday) and running to early Sunday morning, I'm sure...There's definately something for everyone at MvR. Hope to see a great turn out from CLSB...I'd enjoy meeting other CLSB people at the show on Saturday...If we've met before, say hello...if not just ask any Ton Up club member for "Diamond" Jim.

Anything on 2 wheels will fit in, Gus. The Ton Up club welcomes everyone on any kind of bike...Yes, the emphasis is on vintage but don't let that stop you from coming...MvR gets bigger and broader in scope every year. No one who wants to show a bike is turned away and EVERYONE is welcome to come and enjoy the scene!
If you make it be sure to look me up...I kept missing you in the pits at RA and I'd like to say hello!

Do you guys want to meet up for a little ride in the morning then head over there after noon some time?

I actually have a nice little twisty loop south of the city if anyone is interested in that then we can blast down to the city and check out the Mods Vs Rockers dealio.

I have to be back in the Beverly area (111th and Kedzie) by about 4. So we can meet up early and get the ride done and be at the MVR thing on Lincoln av at 12:30-1pm
