Love the pipes. If it's half as pretty as that Honda, it will be a show winner too.

Awesome...that thing is sweet.

I used to think why would anyone want to ride those...no power, don't handle, etc.

As I get older now I want to start collecting that cooler older stuff to piddle around with and go for a little grocery getter cruise.....nice ride...I even like the color....the pipe is cool.

I've always liked to call it garage appeal.

The bikes ability to make me want to work on it.

Cool bike Gus. I love old 2 strokes. Some sort of old 2 stroke is next on my "gotta have it" list as soon as I finish that CL350.

Some progress photos of the street scrambler.
As I clean my way through the bike and search parts which have proven hard to find for this exact bike, we will be lucky to fit some early RD parts.

This bike needs to progress quickly in hopes of having it ready for Junes vintage event.

My plan is uncertain as I think knobs and dirt bars are what I want. While adding a special touch without over doing it.An off road style will be era correct.I'm just not sure which will appeal to the public.

Had a good friend who worked for the AMA and collected the old bikes. I remember an old Honda 305 Scrambler in restored condition plus about 12 other bikes in his stable. He went cross country on a CL 350 which was quite an accomplishment at the time. Gotta hand it to the riders who took the challenge on those old bikes unlike the two wheeled land yachts we have today.

Aren't the ape hangers cool??

I've had a few people suggest I keep them.

I'm to much a purest with bikes this nice.I'm thinking knobs and dirt bike bars.

The ape hangers are from a Schwinn I think ?? the tubing is just to thin for motorcycle bars.

After hours of searching and having no luck I designed a new gadget for the throttle assembly. Luckily my cables were OK only the plastic gadget was broke. The original is installed on the cable in manufacturing.Mine has one slot playing double duty. With the use of alum. I don't think mine will break.
