Bike was called a A-10R Super Rocket. Designed to run the TT series.
This one only has tach, no speedo.
Really cool steering tensioner too.

If you know anyone that collects old bikes, show them this one. Right now it is a little dusty, but it can look like these pictures real quick. You don't see these too often in this good of shape. We're planning on running her in a few weeks.

That is nice. Not much looks better than a pre-unit Brit twin, BSA's in particular. Those high bars need to go though...

It was BSA's version of the Triumph TT Special. Cool bike. Allow me to extend an invitation to you to attend a Chicago Norton Owners meeting. The club is very welcoming of anyone with an appreciation of old bikes, especially British bikes. You would find a bunch of BSA owners and a wealth of knowledge about the bike there.
The club is in transition as to where we will be meeting. I'll post up when I know for sure where our next meeting will be. I will definately be on the second Wednesday of November.

Please let me know the details when you get them. I'm sure my friend would love to attend. He has time being retired. Thanks!

^^^ The next meeting of the Chicago Norton Owners club is on November 9 at the Sunmist Restaurant located at 501 East Lake Street in Addison IL. The meeting is called to order at 7:30 PM and everyone is welcome. Anyone with an affection for old British motorcycles will feel right at home and some of the guys are walking, living encyclopedias of knowledge on all Brit makes. For more info contact Jon Revilla, our Prez @ (630) 650-6002. Hope your friend is able to make it!
The Sunmist is only a temporary meeting place. John's Pizza just up the road, which was our regular meeting place for many years, went out of business so we're looking for new permanant digs so watch our website www.CNOC.org for updates but the November 9 meeting will definately be at the Sunmist.
