1968 Suzuki K11 sport 80

80cc 2 stroke. Needs a little work, but the motor bottom end is good, needs piston and rings, head is good. Suspension works, brakes work, electrics are a mystery at this point. Paint is actually fairly good when you wipe the dust off. Missing rear fender and carb. Rest of the bike is complete. Picked it up for under $50.

Not sure what i'm going to do with it yet, either going to part it out, restore it, or make it a living room piece

I'll post better pictures tomorrow after I bring it home.

The guy selling it was real down to earth and honest about it all, he also had a really nice old yamaha he had restored. I'll update this thread when i figure out what i'm going to do with it and post progress if i choose to do a restore on it

I have one of those too. It would make a cool pitbike. I'd like to get it running and use it as a scooter but I don't have a title.

Started degreasing today, next week i'll start disassembling the entire bike / motor so I can begin the long cleaning and refinishing process. Trying to do this as cheap as possible which means saving parts rather than junking them and replacing them if I can. Anything that can't be saved will go on the list of crap to buy eventually. I expect to complete this project by next spring. Was going to part it out, but i just can't bring myself to destroy a bike haha

It had a car ignition wire spliced to the end of that one before. I took it off and put it the way it is now. It works fine, just don't touch it when it's running.

Both bikes are completely apart. I'll be sorting out the best parts from both piles and setting the good parts to the side to be restored and the lesser quality parts are all going up on ebay. I expect the refinishing to take a couple months, but the important thing is I have a complete bike's worth of parts at this point
