Yep, an Indian dealer opened up right by my house, which is in the old Wild Side Yamaha building. I give them just two years. No clue how they are going to pay 15 stacks in rent a month and all the other overhead just selling those.

Yeah, I drove by yesterday and noticed the building all lit up. On the building, Indian.
I couldn't believe it and been wanting to stop by to take a look. The last one that I've seen was in Rockford about 6 years ago and they weren't doing to good back then.
Nice to see them back at it.

I checked out the dealer in the old Wilde Side building. The new bikes are nice but $31K+!!! I dont see how in the hell they will be able to be successful at that price.

I was told they will soon be a Ducati dealer too.

they do have a fanatical following, so don't count that out. They better start some advertising to pay da bills.

I believe the Ducati rumor, as they are gonna have to do something to pay that nut every month. I know I have seen a few sportbikes in service recently too, so obviously they are branching out already.

I would love Indian to be successful just as I would any other business in the US right now. I just don't think bottle cap valve covers are enough to build a following for these bikes.
