Played This TAPE Til It Broke

...and the Tape was a "Maxwell" recorded from the Album - The days.....

This was my jam and just rang loud out of my 83 GT w/T-Tops and my old flock of sea gulls slash kaja-goo-goo spiked hair

When they were good before they got goofy......

The article was posted on Yahoo! last night. Funny it was the last thing I read before drifting off to sleep. I read it on my phone and then fell asleep with it in my hand. I was waiting for Dave to text me, so I kept my phone in hand.

I don't ride, I cook!

Actually Manders, U2 (like just about all big bands) has a pretty wild back story - Larry Mullens Jr (Drummer) almost quit a few times as he is a Holy Roller and not into the Party Scene - Adam Clayton (Bass) got ALL SORTS of fuckered up when the $$ came in - "Unforgettable Fire" is all about the band's struggle with Herion - On Joshua Tree, there is a track called "Running To Stand Still" and the lyrics say it all - Listen:

Then fuck hole got all "I am the 2nd Coming of hayzoos" and they lost me

I'll take their old stuff any day and all day long

I love the older stuff as well. Got a whole collection of it on my external harddrive. The later stuff, not so much. But that's true with most bands in my opinion.
