That brings back memories. From '77 to '81 I worked the second shift as a tape operator at a Public TV station. Sesame Street would regularly have some great acts.

everything today is weird crap like barney, yo gabba gabba, and teletubbies. add on to that all the animation is computer animated there isn't much good out there these days. the little guy got into tom n' jerry for a bit and i sat there all day and watched it with him... classics
