Layin Down The Drum Track - Electric Style

Pretty Cool to see the New Kit and how my man lays down the track for it

I would LOVE to be able to do this shit

Do you play drums now? I've got a TD-20 and SPD-S and acoustics too. If you're looking for some good stuff to get you there check out Jojo Mayer's Secret Weapons instructional DVDs and Johnny Rabb is good too.

Nice - That and the Sexiest Brutale I have ever seen - I like how you do mate! - I would have to keep this in my frickin living room and have it be the center focus of the room as I dwell in a 750 sf crib - I have always been drawn to the electric kit for the music mixing aspect and if I am not mistake, you can apply eargoggles (headphones for you non Beastie Boy Fans) and not disturb the neighbors

I got this vid off beatportal and was diggin it then found a lot more of his other stuff on Youtube

Thanks! The electric kit is nice for sound and being able to use headphones. The kick pedal can be a problem though with neighbors if you're in an apartment. The acoustics though... just can beat them for feel and expression.

That guy definitely has it together. Cool stuff!
