Who's your favorite band?

Pink floyd for me. animals and dark side of the moon are my favorites from them.

otherwise i'll listen to some grateful dead (arista years are awesome CD's), found some CCR in my music and like all of what i've heard from them as of yet.

I look at the later years much like the later years of the Beetles - They were older, more experienced and broadened their scope - Zep 1 and 2 are straight up Blues Inspired Rock and Roll

I don't have a favorite, I switch pretty regularly.

Ben Folds (lately), Jack Johnson (for a while), Grateful Dead (til Jerry died), Metallica (before they turned into pussies).

I listen to all kinds of shit though. Elvis Costello, Lyle Lovett, beatles since I was a kid.
Once in a while I dig some trance and chill type shit, but not always.

That's a tough call. I'd have to post a list. But, if I were stranded on an island and I could only have one album, it would be UFO - Strangers in the Night. A bold statement, but a fact. Next best live album would have to be Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

Fav. band at the moment - Divine Heresy

All time is a list of a few:
Slipknot (the more brutal shit)
Lamb of God
Pantera
Slayer
Killswitch Engage
Metallica (pre load era)

There are others that I listen to on a regular basis as well just cant make the all-time list. They include:

Shadows Fall
Soilwork
The Black Dahlia Murder
In Flames
The Haunted
God Forbid
Shinedown
10 Years

But as was said before different moods insist on different tunes so that is just my normal line-up. Sometimes I like to relive my youth and listen to some old school rap as well
