IMHO - Greatest "Remake" Of All Time

I think I have been listening to this song everyday for the past month - And, it is so funny to hear the original and just how bad ass this remake is

"Some Silicone Sister with the Manager Mister told me I got what It takes, she said I'll turn you on Son into something strong play the song with the funky breaks" - Brilliant! (oh and I have always used "Scott with the slingshot" after hearing this song)

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

Everyone has their opinion, it's just that yours is wrong!!!!!!

Bruces version is typical Bruce style - Sounds like it should be playing at a the AC Boardwalk while you shoot Skee Ball - All his stuff sounds like that to me though

Example of what you feel is a better remake? State the original song and the remake please in case we are all not familiar

You know that Hendrix is not the originator of that song Bro but great call as I do like his version better than the original - Not as much as what I posted but better than Dylan's

I thought that went without saying. The DMB version is actually probably even better IMO.

Well, your example is a remake of a remake and it is of course your opinion but I would be hard pressed to put anything DMB has ever done over one of Rock & Rolls Greatest i.e James Marshall - Legend vs had his day

Good stuff - Any other remakes better then the original - Yes, you, in the back, tell us why ya got for us

No it's not, it's a remake of an original. You have to ask Bob Dylan for permission to remake that song.

Dude, how high are you? - You posted DMB as a remake of Hendrix which was remade from Dylan so in turn you DMB example is really a remake of a remake - I think that crash did more than just a foot - You're shit has been a little off lately Bro

No I posted the remake by Hendrix first, then I said "As much as I love to hate DMB they fucking rocked this song too," which should denote that I enjoyed both remakes. But DMB did not cover Hendrix, they covered Dylan. You can't remake a remake, it doesn't work like that.

Ah, your post read differently to me
