The MULE

The new studio album is just killer.

Warren is hardest working man in the music biz,
How the hell he has time to record anything i dunno,
but this new one is incredible.

sample, live version

I met him and the band a few years back at the downtown De Paul music center. They set up outside on the sidewalk, played 3 songs at lunch time and then packed up and split.

On a side note, there was a bum standing next to me while I was listening to the band. He was wearing a big, bright red, clown nose. I asked him why he was wearing it and he said if I gave him one of the bananas that I had bought for lunch he'd tell me. I gave him one and he said, "It gets me all the chicks." Just thought I'd share.

His solo acoustic stuff is exellent. Does a lot of covers, his version of U2's "One" is really good, as is his cover of Madman Across the River. Yes, really.

Always thought Gov Mule was cool as they invited you to bring in a reording device, not sure if that is still the case though, been a while since I have seen them.
