Please Read! With a heavy heart I write this.

Here is an update:

Arrangements have been made.
Brust Funeral Home
135 S. Main
Lombard, IL. 60148

Wake will be Friday evening from 3pm to 9pm
Service will be Saturday morning at 11am

After long discussion between his mom and dad they have decided that they would like to ask anyone that rode with David or rode in general that will be attending the service Saturday morning to please ride their bikes there. They have come to realize that David passed doing what he loved to do and this would be what he would have wanted. I WILL be on my bike!

With a very heavy heart I write this to inform you that a member very very very dear to me has passed. David(as most of you know as Jibit or Icecold on the board) passed Sunday September 30th at about 5pm.

David and I had decided to go for a ride for dinner and on our way back he lost control (we believe his throttle stuck or there was a malfunction of the bike) and he shot past me on a turn on the Frontage road by Woodfield. We were making the turn from west bound Golf Rd on to south bound Frontage Rd. I was leading and as I started to enter the slight right hand turn before it straightens out and 290 southbound exit merges, David came by me on the right. He you could tell that there was something wrong, David tried to make the turn but couldnt his bike kept picking up speed and veered across both lanes to the left into the fence the bike flipped David off and hit him. He was pronounced dead on impact.

David and I had not been out much this summer, his bike had been back and forth in the shop most of it. When we did go out for a ride it was normally very short and most of the time to my parents house for dinner.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE EVERYONE BECAREFUL OUT THERE AND REMEMBER TO MAKE SURE YOUR BIKE IS RIDING CORRECTLY BEFORE YOU GET ON IT AT ANY POINT..... EVEN FOR A SHORT RIDE.

RIP David... You were loved more than you will ever know.

As far as the funeral arrangements I will post or have someone post it for me and let you all know.
