Cornerworker recruiting for BHF and RA CCS races

Hey guys. we are looking for people to cornerwork at Blackhawk Farms for 2012.

Must be 18 or older. Your first day is training. After that the pay is $50 or more per day (depends on if they can pay more for 2012). Free lunch and you get into the track free.

To join, just show up at the pavilion (BHF) at 7am and talk with Dave Fanning. Make sure when you get to the guard shack at the security shed that you tell them you are there to cornerwork so he can have you sign the correct waiver.

Tentative Race schedule for 2013 is
May 4-5 Heartland Park Topeka
May 18-19 Blackhawk Farms
July 6-7 Road America
July 20-21 Blackhawk Farms
Aug 17-18 Blackhawk Farms
Sept 21-22 Blackhawk Farms

We do run rain or shine, hot or cold so you need to bring approriate clothing. Really the only requirements are white shirt (absolutely no red or yellow shirts or hats) and long pants (white preferred, but blue jeans are fine). Gloves are very highly recommended.

More info on what to bring, flags, hand signals and procedures at www.midwestsafetycrew.com

I dont know if they will have a cornerworker school at Road America for the event.

If you or someone you know can come out to BHF to work that would be great.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Updated for 2012 season. Dates are right now tentative. They had some retirements over the last 3 yrs and they need people that are willing to replace them and would come to most if not every event.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

50 bucks is a nice gesture.

With the price of gas these days from south of chgo. to BHF it's 100 bucks in gas.Just saying

Gus
We offer three kinds of service @ Resurrection
GOOD - CHEAP - FAST
You can pick any two
GOOD service CHEAP won't be FAST
GOOD service FAST won't be CHEAP
FAST service CHEAP won't be GOOD
and cold beer.

I'd love to help but I don't chase parts.
Please contact other forum members and supporters for parts.
