overall points

http://www.ccsracing.us/points/2011/mwpts%20overall.pdf So I guess I can understand from taking this out of context. Simply put I get points for placing in a race. If I do more races one gets more points.

Yes.

So get out the credit card, show up and place every weekend and you'll be golden. Hope that only three guys show up, your odds of placing are better that way.

It depends.

Not all classes count towards overall points, and the points are adjusted based on the performance index. (Which is what the "adjusted points" are.) So if two people have earned the same number of points in classes that count towards overall points, the person with a better performance index will score higher.

Individual class championships are based solely on points earned.

basically, it is the percentage of starts vs. placement.....
If you start a race and win.....1000
If you start a race and finish 1/2 the field.....500

yep for instance the special olympic's don't count, therefor I have only done 3 points earning races this year...

That was always a complaint from years past when I was racing.

For the overall championship....guys that were slower than molasses that never finished in the Top 5 of a legitimate race were winning the overall because they were spending a ton of money and racing 14 races a weekend.

However, they were freakin WAY off the expert pace...it was a joke.

whats up Kevin. Thanks for keeping me running all these years. Question. I got one set of Vesrah brakes and another brand can't recall the brand. Can I run one set on each rotor?
