Twice the money from our pockets. Rushed twice as much. Over combined grids. So you have to battle through more needless traffic of the wave in front of you. It makes it harder to race your competitors, your just jockeying around trying to find out what crap line the slower wave riders ahead will use.

They usually run behind. So your races get cut short. But you don't get a refund for less laps. The staff is over stressed and twice as crabby because they have to do twice as much work. And they're doing it 4 times this year.

It's a way for them to recoup some costs that are making it hard for them to make a profit this year. Especially at the more expensive tracks like Road America. I understand why they do it, but every twin sprints weekend is such a pain, costs twice as much. If you're running for a championship, it can be a great chance to get more points, or a tragedy if you crash or have a mechanical and can't race.

Turn.... Hold it wide open a while.

Bring your built motor and be good on the brakes. Done.

Except that when you're an expert, you have less traffic starting in front of you... cough cough.

I know you're also talking about combined classes, where the experts still have the fun of getting through the AMs in the class ahead of you....

I dunno. I've adjusted my expectations to match the experience. It's annoying to hit the back end of the other classes you're not racing against before even getting to T1, but I've never NOT had that be the case the whole time I've been racing, so sometimes it's just as much about who can get through traffic better as it is about good lap times.

I would be surprised if Learning Curves was not up at RA. Remember on Twin Sprints weekends you cannot race on Saturday if you are taking the license clinic.

I'm still going to see if I can send a copy of my license from 2001 with some smudges over the date for renewal. Lol. If its attached to money they might just take it.

Depends on the schedule for Learning Curves. I told you how to do this already. Why do you have to be difficult

Wuss.

First race in 2000 (1st weekend in april) it snowed 6" on friday night. They PLOWED the track and dried it off using tractor tires tied behind trucks. Got some pretty cool shots of a friend doing the LCR school with snow banks on the edge of the track.

The twin sprint schedules wouldnt be packed so tight if people would quit dropping their damn bikes. Hell the twin sprint weekends were less hectic than the practice on saturday and try to get 18 races in sunday.

At RA I think I;ve only done races where we got the full required laps in twice. 2004 was a clusterfuck. 3-4 hour fog delay, some retread had a "wonderfull" idea to have the F-USA (this is what ASRA used to be called) racers do a full cool down lap instead of exiting at T5 like normal and that added 3-4 more minutes to each race. Our races got cut from 6 to 3 on sunday and we still had 3 races rescheduled (to topeka no less).

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.
