WERA Races...

Im planning on driving Thursday to Roebling Road and do my first Wera Race. I understand I can race B and C Superstock Expert and B and C Superbike expert.

Thats 4 races.

What else can I run? What is Formula 1?

Look at their rule book. I have no clue on their class structure. But do make sure your bodywork is EXACTLY like stock. No double bubbles in superstock. Mongo is a little bit pickey on that.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

I got almost all seconds in the expert middle weight and heavyweight classes. one third. Road Atlanta next weekend. Im in Atlanta now and I have slated the entire day to prep the bike for Thursday's Practice.

Who's doing the BFR Wera event? I bet it will be crowded. Ricardo V I don't think will be there. Rob Soboka got his front wheel safety wired properly I see from FB. Germany? your going to smoke those boys.

Yep it was a small turnout. 42 bikes sat and think it went up to 55-60 sunday. Mongo and Evelyn were hoping for at least 50. Its more of a "get their foot in the door" for BHF. from what I understand, they are looking into getting 2 weekends next season. BTH alot of the vintage guys were at Road America for the AHRMA races.

Was pretty safe weekend though. Ambulance came out once on sat. Rider was walking back to his pits while I was unloading his bike. Joe Spalding's KTM popped just after 6a saturday and before anyone could get the debirs flag out on him, it tossed him in T7. Was literally seconds from when it started smoking to getting tossed. Joe was fine. Since the race only had 5 laps to go (20 lap race), they just called it complete. 10-15 min to clean the oil up. Just had the mock race for their school afterwards. Sunday was also pretty mellow. Couple crashes, most picked themselves up and rode off. One guy tried to go to WI in T1.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Last ccs event around 200 my guess. Have to ask Kevin for an accurate number.

As for the crash, looked alot like just a racing incident. Looks like the guy in the white leathers who initiated the pass actually got ahead of him and the guy he was passing hit the rear wheel of the guy in white. 2 guys going for the same real estate. Possible the guy who got passed was going a bit to fast to take the run tighter as to not clip the guy.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Rob... I believe your right. The guy getting passes sat up a little too. I think that his fault a little. I can't say what I would do... I would be startled too. He should have staid tucked and continued the turn and would be fine. Maybe they would have tangled between 6 and 7 anyways...

Germany... did you race? I bet you win with all your experience at BFR

Something between the lines.... Lets say, knowing somone that knows someone, beating up on Johnny and beeing #2 in every midwest unlimited class helped.
It will still cost me some $ but I belive it will be a fair amount for both sides...

Spalding's KTM blew right in front of me...well pretty much. We were waiting to head out of the track watching the laps wind down. I saw a puff of smoke coming out of turn 6, followed him around and saw it pop. Bummer.

Despite the small turn out it was a really fun weekend!

Just glad no one else got into the oil and followed him to the ground.

That's good. I think I would have had something for him and Wally at the last round, if I wouldnt have been stuck behind Calvin after my missable starts...
