I think somebody was bringing in some cash last year on the Am grids running Bridgestone or Michelin (I forget which)

It was not Michelin.

I do think Bridgestone was paying last year. We ran Bridgestone slicks a few times when we couldn't get the Michelins we needed (I don't know why endurance compound slicks were so hard to get from them) and they were ok. I'm not sure about the contingency though, because our teammate was taking care of tires.

Yeah, Bridgestone was paying a lot of money.

Karl Solitz ran them and well, he won a lot, but he said he got a lot of money from them.

Who makes those pretty colored tires that you can get in yellow, etc?

Who cares about going fast...it's all about the bling. Chrome wheels Bart....it's all about the chrome buddy.
