No idea for sure. From what I've been hearing on FB from people who did race there when CCS went there after it opened, more likely the south course.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Last time CCS raced there, it was the south course. The north course holds little attraction to me. Fast and sweeping with no real technical sections.

It would be Fkg amazing if we linked both courses. The south course has become very rough to the point where altering lines to stay out of the rough stuff is actually faster and safer than taking the racing line.

Now I don't want to sell the R6 after Daytona 200 since we may get a shot @ Autobahn and I really like Gingerman's new section. Fun on an SV, more fun on a Duc DD1000 (heavily modified) funnest on a well modified R6. Coming up that hill from the toilet bowl on that east end on one wheel is better than sex....I think I'm showing my age...lol

Well you are a world renowned racer so you probably know better than me but when I raced there with CCS the first time they raced there is was the North course. With your expertise you should now the best.

G2G - your words not mine...lol. Wish I was. I've just been lucky enough to race on most of the tracks east & south of here...the full course would be ideal, the south course cool and the north ok.

WTF does the schedule say now about Brainad? See that? I won a 20 min race last year there in the rain. Is that schedule indicating only Middleweight races are happening there? I wonder if its long course or short course?

Must had just went up today. Wasn't there earlier. Looks like Autobahn is a no go again. CMRA is hosting the brainard event and MW (Mid-West) points for sunday only. Not just middleweight.

Great, now I have to move the 2 days I took off for autobahn to coincide for brainerd.

Guess I don't have to move vacation days. Already had June 12 off.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Most people who have raced longer than 10 years have raced alot of tracks. So get over yourself.

If we were going to race the north course @ Autobahn, I don't consider it a great loss although it would have been nice and close. Brainerd is 8 hr drive away, certainly closer than Topeka. Gingerman will be a blast for sure.

Homestead was great; its a fun point and shoot track with a couple of super tight corners. Wasn't competitive but didn't finish last and had a blast. Camping was colder than anticipated. Racers down there really friendly and helpful.

Now on to Roeblings and Daytona.

I hope it's south course. I got my money in already and the cleared the Credit Card. Told Im first to sign up. At an expert race pace north course T1 is a fast freeken turn where I doubt Ill roll off much then brake before T2 Balls pucker you know.

yeah heard from Grasshopper. If that's true then WERA Grattan is out for me. There is also a midwest track day @ NCW I was going to ride also. No to resurrect a contentious issue but did CCS ever race anything but the south track there? My first year racing 2006 we did the south track. Did CCS race there before?

Bart...I don't brake till I see Jesus but then maybe I'm more religious than you...lol

Yea I bailed on Roebling - not racing camping out in 40-50 deg. weather with 60% chance of rain. Was to be my warmup for Daytona but then I'll get plenty of practice and qualifying before the big race..

http://design-engine.com/roebling-ra...annah-georgia/ < my blog post on Roebling. Videos will be up later today. I only post the videos of the races I didn't win because those are the most interesting. Be sure to check out the RoeblingRoad Track map. JPG and PDF both

So for Autobahn Country Club event I hear from Kevin himself that they are waiting to see if they can make it a double header weekend of both North and South course. That currently it's only North course. I originally thought it was south but it's in fact north. That T1 is mean from an Expert level because shutting off is subjective for me. Brake before T2

Be sure to bookmark the design engine racing blog http://design-engine.com/category/racing/ We have an article coming possibly Friday for 'hand health' for us track folks that may be complacent over the winter. What do you do after a hand injury or a long winter? I got some helpful tips.
