edit: i'd actually love to be able to go down to barber and race in the mich US champ. it looks like an awesome event. oh well...

the new power ones are pretty decent. Back when pirelli paid contingency their tires weren't bad either.

ah i didn't know if you were referring to the payout amounts or if they've had problems with processing them in the past. i wasn't around then anyway, so i guess what i don't know won't hurt me, right?

I think right now, any company that pays a decent amount of money has to be appreciated. Everyone is cutting budgets since there is less money to go around. For most of us the difference in payout between the Pirelli and Michelin are very slight. The difference in payout between those two isn't going to be the deciding factor I'm guessing for most people.
