I would be interested in that event, but I don't see it listed on your site.

What is Motovids rain and or crash policy if any? Do you get credits like NESBA/STT?

Nexus, BFR's policy on rain, which Motovid.com adheres to is very similar to the others. We run rain or shine technically. But of course, there is a safety factor involved. The track provides credits for those events that simply cannot be run due the the weather condition for safety reasons. In this case, track mgmt. will call the event at mgmt/race control discretion, and individuals will receive a credit for an upcoming event. You must be at the track to realize this benefit. Staying home as it may look like rain won't receive the credit. If you have ever heard of the "Blackhawk Farms vortex", the weather at the track is very different from what happens in Chicago on the same day.

Regarding crash policy, well its in no one's best interest to crash, but it happens. BFR staff run the bike back thru tech and if the individual requires medical, they would need to sign off on allowing the bike/rider back on course. If by this query, you mean does the track provide credits for crashing? the answer is no, there are no rewards for crashing. So don't crash ;-)

What is the cancellation policy? As in, me backing out for whatever reason. May is still a long way out for me to 100% commit.

"Blackhawk Farms Raceway Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests MUST be received in writing at least twenty (20) days prior to the scheduled event. Upon receipt of this written notification to Blackhawk Farms Raceway Main Office, either via email, fax or letter, refunds will be provided less a $10 administrative fee only if a cancellation request is received 20 days in advance in writing (email, fax or letter). Phone calls or verbal messages will NOT be accepted as advance notification.

Cancellation requests submitted less than twenty (20) days and greater than fourteen (14) days prior to an event will be granted a credit for another track day event useable for a period of one year from the requested canceled event (credits can only be transferred one time).

No cancellations will be accepted thirteen (13) days or less prior to an event but you will have the option to sell, grant your registered slot to another rider. Blackhawk Farms Raceway can provide a credit for cancellation in this timeframe ONLY for special circumstances, entirely at mgmt. discretion. "
