Post BHF 4.14.10

Great day....no PERFECT day! I don't think you could have better weather at a track day, it was awesome! Not too hot, not too cold, just right!!!

First off thanks to everyone who helped me with all the upgrades to my bike, and then the issues we ran into!! Brian, Corey, Frankie, Danny, Brian, Brian....hell another Brian and Brian and Brian

Thanks to Samal for trailering my bike, much appreciated!!

So anyway, today was the first day riding my bike after all my upgrades. I think the biggest thing was the forks, chain/sprocket and the gearing change. I could feel right away the difference with the gearing change, much higher RPM's all the time, which is going to take some getting used to. And my exit speed coming out of some turns....wow, awesome!! I really noticed it in turn 7 at BHF!!!

I was a little disappointed today cuz I had no rabbits out there to chase...or the normal people I ride track with. Either people were a lot faster than me or I was a lot faster than them. I really had no one at my pace today that I could play with They split I into 2 groups so the track was empty most of the day, which is usually nice.

I can't wait to actually get my suspension finished and then see how the bike reacts!

I have pics and will work on the video over the next few days

We had a nice lil group today; Dean, Marr, Mike, Samal, Alex and David....I think we all had a great day!!!!

Here are my pics, vid's will be forthcoming

Nice cushion

Our pit area

David Kim's bike

Samal's bike

Sooooo purty

Relaxin in between sessions, most of us were in I, Mike and David were in A

Our crew; Mike, Marr, Dean, Samal, Alex, Shelly and David

One of our favorite CR's, Casper the friendly ghost

Marr & me

Got some Captian in ya

Better watch out Marr

Oh...and UR MOM Racing strikes again

Glad you had fun, all I could do all day was look out from the conference room and think how GORGEOUS it was outside... and that I should be ON the track....

But alas, work is a good thing!

great day! very nice season opening, I was riding midpack intermediate group, always in comfort zone, working on my transition between 3A and 4 corners and by the end of the day was running consistent 1.28-1.29. not big deal for many here, but a really big deal for me.

Guys that we pitted with - thanks for the company, it was fun as usual, see you all on 25th at autobahn

Here is not much edited video from todays 2nd morning session, by far not my best session today, but the only one that recoded nicely - I had issues with my new GoPro mounts all day that caused shaky videos

shaky video but faster:

oh, and here is a failed attempt to look like Rossi onboard camera (sidebar video links can be NSW)

Nice vids and pics!!

Is Motovids Beginner group pretty similar to NESBA? There are no Blackhawk dates other than Motovid for May so I'm trying to schedule something with them in Beginner.

Come on out. It's hard comparing organization to organization. Lots of good people at these events and a lot of familiar faces. Pit with us and we'll take care of ya.

The track supplies the staff for just about every organization and track day.
The organizations do have different perks and requirements, but overall the days are ran in the same format.

I would say that Motovid and Nesba beginner groups are pretty similar. STT is different.

I might try and come out for the 19th!

If I do I will need pit friends and be there solo. Actually hell if I can go I need a ride/rail too! LOL
