I did one a few weeks ago, it was awesome. There were 12 riders total and about 10 instructors. Tons of 1 on 1 time and there were 2 video bikes running the entire day. I am thinking about doing another one for the clear track time alone.

I was talking with Shawn Hill about it yesterday and it just sounds like it is an awesome deal considering the amount of track time, the quality of instruction, and the price. It really isn't that much more than a regular track day.

we only have 5 nstructors at the events of Track Championship Riders Clinics. We keep these small so as to have the ability to give you lots of individual instruction and work from proffesional racers that may see different things each person can improve on and help you all go faster and do it safer as to be able to do it for a very long time. These are limited to 20 riders. Although we have made exceptions before and went as many as 25 but then bringing in a couple more race instructors to be sure to give you the best bang for your buck! Hope to see you out there!

the track time alone is significantly longer than a standard track day, we only run 3 groups that day with novice, expert, and clinic. The sessions are all 15 minutes but with one group less its alot more time over all. Sign up now, we promise its the best money you've spent at least besides buying your helmet!

do you want some bullsh*t or the truth...

How do these work in conjunction with the CCS practices? Since they are on Fridays isn't that also when CCS runs a practice day?

Sean Hill mentioned some great things about this Riders Clinic. I can't always make weekend trackdays so this one and other Motovid dates look promising.

Nexus,

As PJ identified, working in conjunction with Blackhawk Farms Raceway, we run the Track Championship Rider Clinics in tandem with Fri. Race Practices prior to each 2010 CCS Race weekends; July 23rd, August 20th, September 24th. http://www.motovid.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=2_5

Consider the Track Championship Rider Clinic an entirely separate group from race practice groups, amateur and expert with a dedicated track and classroom session each hour 15-20 min. in length.

This is a VERY limited program. Student to instructor ratio is 3:1, but in most cases even better, semi-private one-on-one instruction from our all star team;

Rick Breuer, Lead Instructor
Jason Damico, Instructor
Brian Hall, Instructor
Shawn Hill, Instructor
PJ Thorton, Instructor
Mike Wemmer, Instructor
Leon Winfrey, Instructor

Rick Breuer leads classroom sessions between each on-track session to discuss fundamentals and targeted exercises for the next session with the students and their respective instructors. In turn, the instructors work with each student to assist on-track, then discuss/analyze the exercise result each session.

In the afternoon class sessions, we provide a 15 min. brief tire seminar by Race Tire Services to discuss tire technology, proper maintenance, usage and track specific pointers such as pressures, tire warmers, monitoring wear, and more to get the most out of your tires.

Similarly, there is another 15 min. Basic Suspension Seminar provided by TurnOne Racing to cover the basics of rider feedback and how to tune your existing hardware and motorcycle suspension to fit you and your riding style. Ultimately, to increase confidence and the motorcycle-rider feedback loop as you go faster.

Similar to the All Levels Motorcycle Track Day format, lunch & DVD are included. Hot track @ 9:00a, lunch @ 12:00, sessions begin @ 12:30, run until 4:30p. Expect 6-7 on-track and classroom sessions.

http://www.motovid.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=2_5

Hope to see you out on track with us.

Cool New track championship rider clinic discount code

CLSB'ers,

As show of appreciation towards CLSB and the support we have received for our program(s), we now have a NEW TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP RIDER CLINIC DISCOUNT CODE worth $30.00 off, good for upcoming BFR Track Championship Rider Clinics, July 23rd, August 20, September 24th. You must be a member of CLSB, not good with any other offer and must be processed online. http://www.motovid.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=2_5

code CLSBRCLINIC - provides a $30.00 discount on an upcoming Track Championship Rider Clinic, July 23rd, August 20, September 24th.

Using this code, the clinic would cost slightly more than a standard track day ($50.00 more) with semi-private instruction from an awesome crew of instructors. The same cast of characters who manage the on track sessions of the All Levels Motorcycle Trackday.

see you at the track,

After some morning rain, this turned into my best track day so far. I can't say enough about how awesome all the instructors were. I think this clinic is a must for any track day rider, and even racers!

I'll be signing up for this class again.

Thanks to all the motovid guys for putting this on!

I was talking to an instructor at the 8/1 motovid trackday and he seemed to think that I could take this class to get a ccs race license. He wasn't 100%, but is this true? If it is I'm going to do this instead of the learning curves class.

The way I understand it, the racing school is on Saturday . It is more about racing rules then technique. The riders clinic does not get you a race license. We had a guy in our group who did the clinic on Friday and got his license on Saturday.

^^That's usually the case... I told the instructor I was going to do the license class on Saturday and that's when he said the track championship class would count. Like I said, he wasn't 100% and told me to check with the people putting it on. I emailed motovid but haven't heard back.

I'm guessing that it does NOT count, but it would be nice if it did.

The licensing class doesn't have nearly as much track time, or as much concentration on technique. Instead, it thoroughly covers racing rules and procedures - flags, start procedure, how to handle different incidents like there being an ambulance on track while you're still racing, etc. and you do a mock race to practice a start.

It's not really of much value if you're not planning on actually racing.

(Unless they've drastically changed the format this year, I haven't been to the track all season.)
