Wow, this could be a possibility. I didn't realize they still had another event. I have time to blow from work, and this is cheap!

Didn't know about this either...

I might weather watch and make a last minute decision. As long as it is sunny I will go! I don't mind cool weather, but not a fain of rain.

I didn't know about this either... I'm definitely going to consider it because I thought I was done for the season.

Just FYI the last date was sold out and everyone there was told about this customer appretiation date and the price. So I am sure the word of mouth has spread. If weather is looking halfway decent it will be sold out quickly.

In.

Looks like the morning could be a little damp but otherwise very decent weather for mid-October.

Will we have any tire changing people there? I'm thinking my worn race DOT's may not be the best for those cold temps. Thinking of pulling off a worn (in the center) Michelin pilot road 2ct off the SV1k and putting it on the R6.

I am almost positive they will. Turn One will most likely be there and if not J.O.S. motorsports will be there doing tires changing.

I had a really good day. I started in Green for the first two sessions then rode in orange once before lunch. A CR, Shaun Hill? (pink helmet), followed me and then tried to push me off my line to see if I was ready for advanced group. After the session he said he would have no problem moving me up. I rode in advance for the rest of the day. I was afraid I would be the slowest so I started in the back. I figured out I was not even close to being the slowest and many riders of liter bikes slow down to much for corners. I made about five passes, all liter bikes, and managed to make them stick. After lunch I ran a consistent 1:20 pace. I was stuck behind a few high horsepower bikes that caused me to loose some momentum in the corners so I am pretty sure I am one clean lap from the teens (I had a few laps where I was only a tenth of a second off).

The reason I am so exited about this is that it is only my second season of riding and my first season of track days. I can't wait until next year so I can improve even more and get my race license.
