I came by around 4:15pm after my surgical follow-up in Rockford. I came to tell Tom and the Safety Crew "Thanks!" for their help/actions back on the 4th when I crashed in T-2.

I did get to visit with Jigs, Ed, Steve, Marr, Badger, and Justin. It was nice seeing my old friends. Always a good time.

I wanted to walk around more, but with 4 broken ribs, and a 10" incision, it was just too painful to get around any more. Sorry to those that I missed.

See everyone next year. :

Jim

A little chilly in the morning, but it was a great day to be at the track. We even managed to stay dry.

I had a really good time. Huge thanks to those that helped. Especially Shelly, Steve, Eddy, Matt & Mike. The confidence is slowly coming back.

Nice to throw back a few beers at days' end with some of the MotoVid crew as well. Good times.

It was also very cool of Ducati Milwaukee to bring some bikes for demo rides. Got a session in on their 848 Evo, which was alot of fun. Thanks again Joe!!

^^^ Anytime, glad you were having fun! You were looking great out there! I'm sure I got some video of you too!

I was grumpy in the am cuz of the chilliness and no sun, then it came out around 2 and it was game on!!!

I actually passed Brian Hall too... (only cuz he was working with someone)

He was working with this gal Allison that has been there almost all year and wow what an improvement. I believe she was in Novice at the beginning of the season and now in I.....I had a hard time passing her cuz she has awesome exit speed on an R1 But I got her in T5.....TWICE!!! Brian brought her over and introduced her and I towed her around then.....the day turned out great!

Best line of the day
Me: Hey, how do you go through the carousel?
James (Joyride): Fast
Me: FUKKER

With that said I was working on the carousel that day! I have a few things to work on the next time too

The festivities after the track day were the best!! I have some pics and will post up later tonight when I get home. Damn golf carts, I thought Matt was gonna flip it with me on the back going over the little hill by the bathrooms

I do believe that I am still on cloud 9!!!!! Steve has been booted out of the bed and into the garage! Mr. R6 took his spot!
I hate I haven't been riding it all season!!!!! I sure did miss riding an R6 on the track! My poor baby took a lickin and kept on tickin! Someone else *cough-cough-steve* had just as much fun on him!!! Oh yeah, hey James............. (heehee)

Although it was a bit chilly, had an AWESOME day!
Hoping the 28th's weather cooperates with us

Oh yeah, I passed Brian Hall too
(this will probably be the first and last time i ever say this)

And congrats to Dani for participating in her first "I" session at Blackhawk!!!!!

I like to thank Joe from DuactiMilwaukee for his support this season and also for bringing new bikes to the track.
I rode the 848 Evo and was a bit disappointed with the power, but than mine has more displacement and low end torque...
The Monster was cool and might be a street bike when I settle down...
The Hyper, well... As Joe said it: it runs like shit, but hey you know how to ride bikes that run like shit, so take it out... LOL

Also cool seeing N8! on track.
