Post 4/18 MOTOVID

Well the day turned out to be excellent weather wise. Good seeing everyone after the winter break. It was great seeing a few new CRs from amongst the CLSB crew. Missed Shelly and grandmaster G2G.
Some people still needed to get their rust shaken off, or were in the wrong group in my opinion. But it's early in the year and not everyone had time or the chance to go south for some track time.
I set my direction for this year and almost got back to my times from last year. The wind on the front straight was a bit of a wild card for bikes lifting the front. I got some video to post up when I get to it.

I had a good time and sorted some things out on the new bike. It was my first day as a CR so I did my best to help some people out. I am looking forward to the next one.

Not sure, but I don't think so, I lapped him at the end again, which puts him at a 1:30 - 1:35 laptime... judging from the amount of times I saw him that would be right...

Lookin good Germany! As the laps progressed you could see yourself getting faster. At about 2:45 you were pulling strong, what kind of bike was following?

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Yea it was ok, could have been better, but for track condition and other excuses I could come up with, its ok. ;-)

That was one hell of an impressive wheelie. I laughed under my helmet all the way till T4.

So did the powers at large really try to ask you to leave? How stern were they?

I think I know the guy in T6... I'm not sure what's going on there, but he's an upper I/lower A pace guy normally in the low 20s or upper teens I think. Not sure what's going on with him in that session though... maybe just rusty?

Maybe, I don't know what he was trying to do in six, I know I came fast, but I didn't even planned on passing him there.
I was approached by someone, and I like to say that I'm in no way talking bad about people that are slower, I was one of them as well sometime back, and am still a roadblock for Jason and Brian,... It's not about the speed or the times you run out there, but about your predictability and line. If you are going slower and you don't stick to your line or a pass, than its getting very dangerous when someone faster is passing you. And I expect the people in an advanced session to be doing that most of the time.
I felt safer in A than I felt anywhere else but as the speeds go up, the risk goes up.

Yeah, that was weird. Really, if he was that far off his pace, he should have bumped down himself or someone should have put him in a lower group. It's understandable to be a little off pace at the beginning of the season, but there's no shame in bumping down if you're really off your game.

I hear that some guy you pitted next to was putting obscene gestures on your rear-facing cam. Any truth to that?
