2nd Annual Broken Wing Benefit INFO!

WHO IS COOKING????

Steve Harris is the 2012 BFR Wing Master winning the 2012 cooking contest.
He has entered AGAIN and needs some competition!!!

The requirements for the cooking contest are:
1) you must be a participant in the track day
2) you cook a minimum of 75 wings for the customers to taste and vote on.

The 2013 BFR Wing Master will receive a FULL SEASON of Track days (2014). Value $2400!!!!!! Additionally, the winner of the cooking contest, will be deemed 2013 BFR Wing Master and will have their recipe featured in Café Fastee during a motorcycle race weekend during the 2014 season!

WHO LIKES TO EAT WINGS?????

Bjorn Iverson is the 2012 BFR Wing Eating Champ! Let’s see if the returning champ has some competition!

For those of you not into cooking and like to eat you should enter the Chicken Wing eating contest. There will be a limited number of participants so enter early.

The fee is $10 to be a judge in the cooking contest and eat as many different wings as you can! This $10 qualifies you for the eating contest and the possibilities for some door prizes. All money collected will go directly to the Road Racing World Action Fund.

If you are interested in participating in the Blackhawk Farms Raceway Broken Wing Cooking and or Eating Contest contact Kathleen Casey, Blackhawk Farms Raceway Events Coordinator (815) 389-2000.

Blackhawk Farms Raceway, Motovid.com and Jos Motorsports are requesting
your help in supporting the Road Racing World Action Fund. Last year’s
inaugural Broken Wing Benefit raised $7000.

RRWAF is an organization that uses contributions to promote motorcycle
safety and encourage facilities to use soft air barriers at motorcycle events.
Over the years, the RRWAF has helped save lives and prevent serious injuries
at race tracks all over North America.

The 2nd Annual Broken Wing Benefit will take place on August 31st, 2013
during the JOS Motorsports Weekend. There will be live and silent auctions,
door prizes and both a Wing Cooking and Eating Contest to benefit the Road
Racing World Action Fund. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the
purchase of new Air Fence safety barriers for various regional and national
racetracks in need of greater protection for motorcycle events.

Please consider making donations in the form of gift certificates for products
and services, or actual hard and soft good products to directly support the
Road Racing World Action Fund. These donations are critical to make sure
that we meet or exceed our goal of $10,000 in total donations.

We appreciate you considering our request. If you would like to make a
donation, please mail or ship to the address provided below. If you have any
questions or need further information, please feel free to contact us. All
donations will be delivered no later than Monday, August 26th, 2013.

We hope you can join us for a night of food, fun, entertainment and prizes!!!

Sincerely,
Kathleen Casey
