I haven't decided yet wether I will ride the Wednesday or the Friday. What are they charging for the Wednesday? Also do you know if they charge people to come and watch? Friday is cheaper but have to pay more for people to get in. They make me pay for Saturday even though I go home and come back on Sunday to race...... if that makes sence.....

Wed. is $165 but I'm not sure what the gate fee is. Friday test and tune is $90 and gate fee for the whole weekend is $35? Still less money to do Friday. There's also a lot less people on Friday. It's like open track.

Terra, we all leave Wed. night? Are you planning on camping until the weekend? Or just coming up for dinner at Anna Maria's?

they run from 9-5 with an hour break at noon. There are 4 groups. Novice, Intermediate, advanced, and vision sports. sessions are 15 minutes long. Other than that its similar to a NESBA day.

I will end up paying $90+$35+$35= $160 for friday. Then I go home and come back on Sunday and wouldn't pay gate fees. Otherwise it's $165 for Wednesday with having to pay $15+$15 for gate fees on Sunday if there are no gate fees on Wednesday. So it's only $35 more. Then it comes down to quality track time I guess.... Anyone here running in advanced? If so what times can you run. I am looking for someone to Follow. My fastest is a 1:16.00 during racing.

Don't know if this will be frowned upon or not, but if you put in a discount coupon code of MSB2008 (which is the special discount for the Madison Sportbike website), it is $15 off making the track day $150. We can all stand to save a couple dollars nowadays.

Unfortunately I can't make this day, but I would love to be out there.

If you're going to use the WSB or the MSB codes, I think they would appreciate it if you at least sign up and check out the forums. Maybe it would make sense for CLSB to look into getting a discount code too.

I'm signed up. Come on out, should be a great day! I was running low 1:15's, high 14's last year. I haven't been out or racing since topeka this year, but have been dying to get back on the track. Still toying with the idea of racing this weekend.

can't wait!!

for those who haven't done bhf day, you will need to zip tie your side stand while on the track, so plan accordingly.

either bring the rear stand, or enough zip ties to tie the side stand for each next session.

also, tech inspection includes suit, gloves, helmet, boots, and the bike!

now, go and pack

Make sure you have it tied up for tech!
Apparently, I will be working grid out, so if you want/need help with zip tied stands, let me know and I'll give you a hand.
