MOTOVID: Roll Call for Blackhawk Farms - 9/23 and 9/25

Hey folks!

I know that many of you love staying close to home. I wanted to post up a Roll Call for Motovid's upcoming All Level Motorcycle Track Day (ALMTD) at BLACKHAWK FARMS on September 23rd and for their final Riding Clinic (Track School) of the 2009 season coming up on September 25th. For those of you unfamiliar with the Riding Clinic, you get One-On-One instruction from some of the best riders and racers around, as well as one-on-one video coaching. Our very own Ron Hix is one of the instructors, for only slightly more than a track day cost, no matter your riding level, one of the 4 instructors can really help you improve your riding in one day. (This clinic os good for first time track riders through top level racers)

We are still having GREAT weather and this looks to be another great time on the track. This may be your last time to get on the track this year, or your last opportunity to have your FIRST time on the track this year!

Track Day - If you are not already registered, you can register here at: http://www.motovid.com/catalog/event...=09&_year=2009
Riders Clinic - If you are not already registered, you can register here at: http://www.motovid.com/catalog/event...=09&_year=2009

Blackhawk Farms
South Beloit, WI

Awesome Kohler Shower and bathroom facilities are available, power is available for $25 for the weekend.

Description: 1.95 miles, 7 turns. This is a flowing and TIGHT technical track. Two small straights and hard braking technical sections. This is a very popular track and hosts many CCS racing events.

Repaved in 2006, with new patches this past year, this track is a blast, and has the most relaxed feeling of any of the tracks you'll find anywhere in the Midwest.

Track Record: Sub 1:09s as of this year, heck even our own Ron Hix is running better than last years track record! Now, there is a guy that help us all go faster!

Personally, I prefer the two I group format. More open track for everyone for cleaner laps, and closer riding paces within the I groups.

I'd love to do one of these days..
Is a Nesba membership required for MotoVid days? I assume it's not.. right?
Also... Does everyone start in B or if you have some days under your belt with other organizations.. I?.. Imagine that is handled on an individual basis?

You can sign up for whatever group you think is most appropriate for you. Like any other group, you may be moved p or down depending on your fit within a specific group.

Motovid promotes the track days for Blackhawk Farms and runs their track days for them. This is not related to NESBA, PTT, or STT. However, you will see CRs from each of these groups participating.

No Membership required of any kind. If you ride with I with another group, feel free to sign up in I.

BTW - The rule set is very similar to STT.

No membership required. It's a Motovid.com day, not Nesba or Stt.

You can sign up for whatever you want, i.e. sign up for the group you ride with other organizations.

it's an awesome day!!

That's what I thought about Motovid.. but then I saw all you Nesba CR's telling everyone about it.. and I thought perhaps Motovid was the name, but they had Nesba "running" it.. Kind of like when Speedlimit had those track days back at Autobahn, but STT was actually there running the show..

Thanks for the heads up... I'd love to do it (I have little to no exp on blackhawk.. last time I was there was like 4 years ago and on the second session my chain broke.. so that doesn't even really count.. before that it was learning curves in.. spring of 04)

You'll notice that you have CRs and Track Coaches from all the orgs that ride around here. Notice that Nick and tea coach for STT (as well as other riders) and Ron & I CR for NESBA.

As a midweek solution for Track Days, Motovid is not a direct competitor of STT or NESBA, rather an alternative for those that prefer midweek days. STT & NESBA only do weekends at Blackhawk.

Hope you can make it out, you'll have a blast!
